Returns Policy
These return terms apply to purchases made through the Raksalta.fi online service
1. General
The return terms for new goods do not apply to used and surplus materials. As a general rule, used goods do not have a right of return. If the product listing contained incorrect information or defects in the product's functionality were discovered after the purchase (if this was not mentioned in the listing), the consumer has the right to cancel the purchase in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.
The terms regarding the right of withdrawal and order returns are part of our delivery terms.
2. Consumer Purchases - 14-day Right of Return
The customer has the right under Finnish Consumer Protection Act (KSL 6:14) to cancel an order by notifying our customer service in writing at raksalta@destaclean.fi. We will send confirmation of receipt of the cancellation notice to the email address provided by the customer. The notice can be made freely via email.
The cancellation notice must be made within 14 days from when the customer has received the ordered goods. Simply returning the goods without notice is not sufficient.
2.1. Exercising the Right of Return
Notify about the return via email to raksalta@destaclean.fi
The following information must be sent with the return:
- product code and invoice number
- reason for canceling the purchase
- name, address and phone number
- bank account number in IBAN format for refund
The customer is responsible for the return costs of the goods. If the goods have been transported or delivered to the customer, transportation and delivery costs are not included in the return.
Remember that returned shipments must be packed carefully.
Raksalta.fi's return pickup through our delivery service can be ordered immediately after the cancellation notice from our customer service at raksalta@destaclean.fi. Goods returned through our delivery service will be transferred to our processing for inspection. When the return is approved, the refund will be paid according to the online store's normal return practice.
Raksalta.fi charges an administration fee for canceling a purchase, if the reason for cancellation is not caused by the Raksalta.fi service. The administration fee is 25€ per return.
If a customer cancels their order, they must return the goods without delay and no later than 5 days after making the cancellation notice.
The right of return applies only to saleable goods that have not been put into use. This means that the goods have not been used more than normal familiarization with the goods requires.
Returned goods will be transferred for inspection. When the return is approved, the refund will be paid according to the online store's normal return practice.
We may withhold refunds until we have received the goods back or until the customer has demonstrated having sent the goods back. When the return has been processed and approved, the money will be refunded directly to the customer's account.
Returns and refunds are processed in our service once a month, on the last Thursday.
2.2. Limitations on the Right of Return

3. Business Purchases
Business customers do not have a statutory 14-day right of return. Returns are handled on a case-by-case basis.
4. Defective Products
Goods are sold in their delivery condition. We inspect goods superficially and sell goods classified as saleable according to our professional competence, stating the observed condition in the listings. If the product listing contained incorrect information or defects in the product's functionality were discovered after the purchase (if this was not mentioned in the listing), the consumer has the right to cancel the purchase in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.
The seller is responsible for the return costs of defective products.
5. Complaints
If goods have been lost or damaged during transport or the wrong goods have been delivered to the customer, the customer must report the error immediately to raksalta@destaclean.fi. Notice of incorrect delivery or defective product must be made within 14 days of receiving the goods.
