Sales and Delivery Terms
Raksalta.fi sells products to adults and companies in Finland. The goods sold are mainly surplus materials and supplies from construction sites, which Raksalta.fi sells with the permission of construction companies. We reserve the right to change prices and delivery costs.
Goods are sold in their delivery condition. We inspect goods superficially and sell goods classified as saleable according to our professional competence, stating the observed condition in the listings. If the product listing contained incorrect information or defects in the product's functionality were discovered after the purchase (if this was not mentioned in the listing), the consumer has the right to cancel the purchase in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.
Goods do not have a warranty unless it is mentioned in the sales listing.
Goods do not have a right of return as a general rule, they are sold as is. If the goods are defective, we will refund your money. If you have purchased home delivery for the goods, we do not accept delivery and transportation costs for return.
1. Payment
An invoice for the purchased goods will be sent by email or as an electronic invoice to the buyer before pickup or delivery of the goods. When payment has been demonstrably completed in full with the buyer, the schedule for pickup or delivery will be agreed upon.
2. Pickup or Delivery of Goods
The buyer can pick up the purchased goods themselves or order Raksalta.fi delivery service.
Raksalta.fi offers competitive transportation and delivery for purchased goods, ask for a quote.
2.1 Pickup of Goods
An exact pickup time and place for the purchased goods will be agreed with the buyer.
Goods must be picked up at the agreed time from the agreed place.
If pickup is prevented due to reasons caused by the buyer at the agreed time, the buyer must contact the service provider immediately or by the next day at the latest to agree on a new pickup time.
If goods are not picked up due to reasons caused by the buyer, we will charge a storage fee of 50 €/day starting from the next day.
Costs accumulated from the storage fee must be paid to the service provider before the second pickup attempt.
If the second pickup is prevented due to reasons caused by the buyer, the purchase is automatically cancelled and money will be refunded to the buyer according to the refund policy.
Raksalta.fi charges an administration fee for canceling a purchase, if the reason for cancellation is not caused by the Raksalta.fi service. The administration fee is 25 € per cancellation.
2.2 Delivery of Goods through Raksalta.fi Delivery Service
An exact delivery time and place for the purchased goods will be agreed with the buyer.
The buyer must be present when the delivery arrives or authorize a person to receive the delivery. With a separate written agreement, the buyer can designate a place where the purchased goods are delivered and left without the presence of the buyer or an authorized person.
If the buyer has not agreed in writing to leave the purchased goods and no one is receiving the goods at the agreed delivery time, the buyer must contact the service provider immediately or by the next day at the latest to agree on a new delivery time. We charge a separate transportation fee for the new delivery.
If delivery fails due to reasons caused by the buyer, we will charge a storage fee of 50 €/day starting from the next day.
Costs accumulated from the storage fee and the new transportation fee must be paid to the service provider before the second delivery attempt.
If delivery fails on the second delivery attempt due to reasons caused by the buyer, the purchase is automatically cancelled and the sales price of the goods will be refunded to the buyer according to the refund policy. Transportation and delivery costs of the goods are not included in the refund.
